Special moments, combining peaceful nature and pampering experiences
Less frequented, the Domaine is unveiled in a new light, softer, calmer, more intimate. This is the perfect time to get some fresh air, relax, savour the contrasts of the season… or simply take a break away from the hustle and bustle. Here, autumn and winter reveal another facet of the complex: more meditative, quieter, but equally inspiring.
Colour and light provide the perfect setting for amateur photographers, nature enthusiasts and those who simply enjoy strolling in peace. Walking paths remain accessible, as well as bike routes and hiking trails. You can walk alone, as a couple or with your family, observe birds, fill your lungs… and even walk your dog freely, away from the summer crowds.
When nature is adorned with mist and snow
Morning mist on the water, silver flecks on the foliage, sometimes snow on the hills… perfect for a meditative experience. It is also the ideal time to come and discover the Lakes from a different angle with a real invitation to take your time.
Warm up, find yourself, reconnect
Even in winter, some experiences remain accessible and find particular resonance in this season. How about a spa session at one of the Domaine’s wellness centres? With hammam, jacuzzi and heated swimming pool with views of nature, it’s a different way to experience the landscape, warm and in a bubble of wellbeing.
Our winter experiences at the Lakes
For those who prefer action, the indoor laser game is a perfect option to get moving, compete and have fun.
The guided tour of the dam, meanwhile, allows you to discover the technical aspects of the complex while remaining sheltered.
It’s also a great time to discover the model centre or plan a gourmet trip to one of the Domaine’s restaurants.
And then, there are those milder days, the Indian summer, when you can still enjoy a breath of fresh air, go for a bike ride on the RAVeL, or treat yourself to a last paddle session on a calm lake.
Unexpected breaks, where nature offers a little respite before winter.
