Safe swimming

Specifically developed and officially recognised, the Espace Fun beach – on the shores of Lake Plate Taille – is the only place where swimming is permitted in the area.
Open from 14 June to 15 September, it is supervised daily from 11 am to 6:30 pm by qualified lifeguards.

The water is regularly checked, the beach is designed for your comfort, and the natural setting invites you to relax.
It is the ideal place to cool off, swim or simply enjoy the waterfront.

Please refer to the flags

  • 🟩 Green flag: swimming permitted and supervised
  • 🟥 Red flag: swimming prohibited (poor water quality or danger)
  • ❌ No flag: swimming prohibited by default

Useful information

Even when lifeguards are present, parents remain responsible for their children.
Swimming is prohibited outside the marked areas, to avoid risks associated with currents, algae, temperature differences and other water activities.

Good waterfront practices

At the Eau d’Heure Lakes, every action helps to preserve the beauty and usability of the area.

  • Please keep your dog on a lead
  • Please take your rubbish away with you and leave nature clean
  • Please respect other visitors and share spaces with kindness

Because being together by the water also means respecting nature and those who are enjoying it.

Rules to follow at the Domaine

To ensure everyone's safety and wellbeing, certain rules apply throughout the Domaine des Lacs de l’Eau d’Heure:

  • Barbecues and fires are prohibited throughout the area
  • No music speakers on the banks
  • Speed limit 70 km/h on certain roads at the Domaine

These simple rules allow everyone to enjoy a peaceful, clean and safe environment.
