The easiest and most comfortable way to reach us.

Approximate travel times:

  • 1 hour 15 mins from Brussels
  • 1 hour 30 mins from Lille or Liège
  • 50 mins from Mons
  • 45 mins from Maubeuge
  • 45 mins from Brussels South Charleroi Airport (CRL)

Several car parks are available onsite.

The nearest station is Walcourt, approximately 15 km from the lakes.

From Walcourt, you have several options:

  • Hire a car or take a taxi
    • Cycle to the lakes (approx. 50 minutes – 14 km).
    • Walk via a hiking trail (approx. 2 hours 30 mins – 12 km).

Charleroi-Sud station is also an alternative, located 30 km away. Please check the SNCB timetables.

For the more athletic and lovers of slow tourism:

Numerous cycle routes, including the RAVeL, lead to the area.

From Walcourt station: 12 km via paths and countryside – approximately 2 hours 30 mins on foot.
A great way to start your adventure direct from the train!

The nearest airport is Brussels South Charleroi Airport (CRL), which is 45 minutes by car.

To reach the lakes from the airport:

  • Hire a car at the airport
  • Take a taxi
  • Take a train to Walcourt station via Charleroi-Sud
